Originally released in arcades by SNK, Samurai Shodown brings intense weapon-based fighting to the Super Nintendo. Set in feudal Japan, you’ll battle a roster of legendary swordsmen and warriors, each with their own unique fighting style, special moves and devastating weapon attacks. Unlike many fighting games of its era, Samurai Shodown focuses on precision, timing and powerful single strikes rather than lengthy combo chains, making every duel feel tactical and rewarding. The SNES version faithfully includes the full character roster while adapting the arcade experience for home play.
