SNES: Samurai Shodown [NTSC-U] (Complete) (POOR)

    £49.99 Add to basket

Originally released in arcades by SNK, Samurai Shodown brings intense weapon-based fighting to the Super Nintendo. Set in feudal Japan, you’ll battle a roster of legendary swordsmen and warriors, each with their own unique fighting style, special moves and devastating weapon attacks. Unlike many fighting games of its era, Samurai Shodown focuses on precision, timing and powerful single strikes rather than lengthy combo chains, making every duel feel tactical and rewarding. The SNES version faithfully includes the full character roster while adapting the arcade experience for home play.

    Synopsis

Art of Fighting is a classic one-on-one fighting game originally developed by SNK and brought to the Super Nintendo by Takara. Set in the crime-ridden South Town, you play as martial artists Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia as they battle their way through a roster of formidable opponents to rescue Ryo’s kidnapped sister, Yuri. Featuring large character sprites, a unique Spirit Gauge that limits special moves, and cinematic zoom effects, Art of Fighting was one of the standout fighting games of the early 1990s.
